Sometimes I get to meet couples and for whatever reason, through very little effort, everything just “fits”. We click seamlessly and I get to have an insight into what makes them so special together.

I have to be honest and say when we first met at their engagement session, I almost felt like a bit third wheel, without words, I could sense their connection was deep. So for the most part, I kept back and shot as photo journalistically as possible. Fast forward to the wedding day – and it was like meeting old friends.

I love that I can blend in with my couples, enjoying the day as one of their friends would. I get to witness the authentic moments and the natural interactions that everyone has with one another.

Aside from this, the other thing I love about this wedding – was how cool and calm Taegan was as the day unfolded. This was largely in part due to her organised nature – and I have to say the styling, event management and design by the very talented team at hygge studio definitely helped to keep things running smooth.

After seeing the glorious details at the ceremony – from the hand designed signage, to the meticulous, and beautiful table layouts – I knew that this luxe wedding was going to be an absolute blast – all the fine details were taken care of – and all they had to do was enjoy the proceedings as they unfolded.
