When I first started photography, like most others, it was in the digital era. But as I progressed in skill and expertise, I discovered the beauty of analogue film and the incomparable way it renders light and images.

I've been working on my digital images to reflect this beauty, but every wedding needs a reference point. Whilst I may not always shoot a full day of film at your wedding, I make sure I have enough frames to be able to reference my digital files, ensuring you have that beautiful, light and timeless look that is so reminiscent of the images we love to look at from our history.

It's not a filter, rather an allusion to nostalgia. When you look back at your images, it won't be a processing trend, but rather a snapshot of a moment that takes you back to relive it all over again.

It's important to me that you are able to have authentic moments, immersed in the story of your day.

Before the wedding, we'll have a clear idea together of my coverage timeline, where I'll be in relation to the flow of events, and where and when we'll take portraits and capture things as they unfold. When the day comes, you'll know exactly what will happen and can focus on enjoying yourself as it unfolds in front of you.

I'm not always hiding behind the camera, the way we interact, along with your guests, friends and family, will ultimately affect the final images you have - so I make it my priority to be as immersed in your day as you are.

This builds comfort and trust for you and those in front of my lens. In my experience, this provides the most authentic reactions and the emotion that you feel in my portfolio.

When my clients hire me, it's for my ability to capture the story of the day, along with a perspective that has them in their most natural and authentic state. I know it's a huge deal to choose the right person to trust in capturing imagery of a day that means so much to you.

As a fine art wedding photographer, I take the time to capture this story of your day, as well as beautiful portraits that have you looking and feeling at your best, whilst being able to look back on the images and relive each moment.

My approach provides you with a seamless photography experience. This means you will receive authentic, beautiful and true to the day wedding imagery. Images that you'll be proud to display in the walls of your home and in an album to share with the next generation.

I'm a photographer, guide, curator and a storyteller of your wedding day.

"Israel.. I have no words to express my feelings at the moment. I'm so touched, so happy and feel eternally thankful for you. You were if not, the best thing about this wedding! Id like to get married again just to work with you one more time! Thank you for everything! We love you"

"Dear Israel, a small note to say a massive thank you for being the BEST photographer for our wedding. You have made two very un-photogenic and awkward people look like they've just stepped into a Vogue fashion shoot! You helped both of us, our bridal party and our parents relax on the day and as a result - you captured the most precious memories for us" ~ Love Jess & Geoff
