Jenna and Haydn are two of the most kind hearted, warm and generous people you will ever meet. When Jenna asked me to be their photographer, my heart literally jumped into my throat. I knew their wedding was going to be a beautiful and well thought out affair, filled with genuine moments and some heartfelt vows. The engagement session was our opportunity to spend sometime together before the wedding and get (them) comfortable in front of the camera.
Mandalay House was the perfect setting and as the sun set, we walked around the grounds and took some photos. As they both relaxed into the shoot, I found their walls dropping and the real, happy expressions begin to come across their faces.
One of the best parts of my job is getting to the realness that a couple shares when they’re all alone – here’s some snaps from that session.
*EDIT* These guys did so well on their shoot, that one of the snaps from the session caught the eye of a national wedding blog – you can see the write up here on Polkadot Bride
Keep an eye out for their wedding snaps on the blog!
