Claire + James | Middleton Beach Huts Engagement Session

25 January 2017

When I found out how Claire and James met, I knew we would be have a laugh! The fun way they described their first day out together and the faux pas that happened on the Gravitron was the clincher. Now 8 years later, they’re engaged and planning the life of their dreams.

We were lucky enough to be able to spend some time at the gorgeous Middleton Beach Huts.

If you haven’t already been, this place is fantastic. Right in between Port Elliot & Goolwa, it’s a gorgeous drive to the south east of Adelaide. You have a choice of 13 beautifully styled huts, each named after Australia’s most iconic beaches. The staff are delightful and friendly, and there’s a beautiful gardened area you can share and play some lawn games, or even cook in the communal kitchen outside.

A french inspired breakfast of croissants, champagne and strawberries and a fun in-room session at the beautiful Bondi Beach Hut was a great place to start, followed by a quick walk around the grounds, we headed off to the mouth of the glorious Murray River.

More recently as we’ve done these sessions, couples are quick to point out they never realised there were so many cool places in South Australia.

I love showcasing our state and love it even more if I can bring my couples somewhere new.

One of the best parts about this session is seeing a couple who’ve been together for eight years still continue to be so in love, capturing those moments in photographs is what makes my job so satisfying.

I hope you enjoy the images Claire and James and thanks for being such great sports!
